Education Fund

We offer loans to help with education expenses from pre-school to graduate school. The loan may be used for anything from tuition to books to transportation as long as it's directly related to the student's education.

How much money can I borrow?

We offer loans up to $7,500.

How much will it cost me?

Nothing. Our loans are interest-free and have no processing fees.

Who can borrow for education?

A student 18 or over or the parents or spouse of a student of any age may borrow to help with education expenses.

When do I have to pay? How much is each payment?

Payments begin approximately one month after you receive the loan. For education loans, you may pay as little as $50 per month as long as the student for whom you're borrowing is in school. We require proof of enrollment every semester for college and graduate school, and annually for pre-school or private school. When the student leaves school, the remainder is paid at $100 to $200 per month, based on the original loan amount.

Can I get a new loan each year until I graduate?

We allow a borrower to have only one loan at a time, so you cannot get a new loan until your current loan is repaid. You may choose to accelerate payments in order to get a new loan.

What else do I need to know?

See our lending criteria on the Getting a Loan page for information about eligibility and requirements.
